Every Escaramuza team must belong to a Charro team, it cannot federate independently. The president of your Charro association will fill out Mesa Directiva (pg.2) with the information regarding your Charro team. Obtain a COPY from him and include in your escaramuza paperwork. This paper will facilitate FMDC in Mexico to verify the authenticity of the Charro team you are federating with. (Provide 1 copy for the state delegada and 1 goes to FMDC.)

Each participant must fill out Datos del Socio (pg.3) with her personal data. Info regarding the “beneficiario” applies only to applicants purchasing Mexico’s optional personal injury insurance. Include 2 passport size photos of the applicant in proper charro or adelita attire (including sombrero charro). Do not staple the pictures directly to the sheet, instead place in a mini-envelope or plastic bag and staple this to the sheet. (Original page goes to FMDC, 1 copy to your state delegada, 1 copy for the team captain.)

In order to federate a team, an escaramuza must have minimum 8 applicants. Fill out Lista de Escaramuzas (pg.4), which serves as a summary sheet of all applicants federating. The state PUA must sign this page. (Original page goes to FMDC, 1 copy to your state delegada, 1 copy for the team captain.)

Applicants under 15 (age 14 and under) must also have their parents fill out the consent and release form Forma para Federar Menores. (Original goes to FMDC, 1 copy to your state delegada, 3 copies for the team captain.)

When federating an additional person at a later date include a copy of your team’s original Lista de Escaramuza along with the new applicant’s Datos del Socio.
